Religious Education/Faith Formation classes for School Year 2024-2025 will start on October 5, 2024. Please note that the first level class will only accept children ages 6 and above or at least a first grader in the Fall. First Communicants will have to be a second grader in the Fall or older. Confirmation candidates will have to be at least 13 years of age and/or a 9th grader in the Fall.

REQUIREMENTS

New Students

  • Please complete the CCD Online Registration Form – SY 2024-2025
  • Please email a Copy of Baptismal Certificate to Sheila Remolar-Reduta at sjtafaithformation@gmail.com.
  • Parental Permission, Health Authorization and Release Form
  • St. James Parish Registration Form (if new to the parish; all students and their families must be registered parishioners of St. James). Please complete the Parish Registration Form available at the St. James Parish Office. Please call the office at (510) 792-1962 to obtain a copy of the form.
  • Registration Fee (see below) – Please make your payment via Check or Cash at the CCD Open House on October 5, 2024. Checks should be payable to “St. James the Apostle” and under Notes please put “CCD and the student’s name”. A receipt will be issued upon payment.
    • $100.00 per student (For Level 1, First Communion, Levels 3, 4, 5, 6 and Pre-Confirmation)
    • $200.00 per student (For Confirmation)
    • Late Registration Fee (past October 1, 2024) for Confirmation: $300.00
    • Late Registration Fee (past October 1, 2024) for First Communion, Pre-Confirmation and Levels 1-6: $200.00

Returning Students
