Thanksgiving Mass and St. Mary’s Mission Offering November 26th at 10:00am

My Dear Parishioners,

As we are getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, I would like to remind you that we will be taking a special collection as usual in support of St. Mary’s Mission. Because of Covid-19 we will not be collecting any clothes or food items this year. Instead, Fr. Dale would like that we support him financially. I would like to request you to be generous and help his mission as much as we can. Let us consider this our opportunity to serve the poor people of this much deserving mission. I have included below an excerpt from the letter that Fr. Dale wrote to me.

“Just a suggestion, but as part of the appeal, you could ask for those food cards from Walmart and Target. Sister Marlene has used those cards this year (they are all gone now) to get items for the food pantry that we can’t get from the mega food bank in Gallup. Very often fresh fruits and vegetables and things like that. Anyway, I know you will give St. Mary’s a good plug.”

I am inviting all of you to our Thanksgiving Mass on Thursday, November 26th, at 10:00am. We will have a special collection for the food cards (Walmart, Target, Trader Joe’s) and monetary donation for St. Mary’s Mission during this time.

Thank you for your generosity. May God bless you abundantly as you continue to share His love and blessings!
